About Us

"Not for profit... but for service"

Founded in 2002, in response to a high number of stray and abandoned animals near WAFB. All staff is volunteer. We are funded by re-homing fees, fundraisers, and gifts from generous donors like you!

Second Chance Animal Sanctuary & Feline Friends are non-profit animal welfare programs, providing socialization & rehabilitation services & assisting with re-homing of animals in need... from horses to finches.

Feline Friends also feeds, houses, provides socialization and veterinary care for stray and abandoned cats, and, operates a CAR (catch alter release program) for feral cats.

Sparing these unfortunate animals untold cruelty and hardship is Feline Friends mission.

It cost approximately $75.00 per cat to provide intake care and altering (spay or neuter). Some cats require an extended stay, for various reasons including injuries, pregnancy, kits, or health & socialization concerns

requiring a higher level of care. Cost for food, shelter, and basic necessities varies depending on length of stay.
